If you like Halo,...buy it!! The author pretty much says, "See other Halo game reviews." But he calls it what it is. An expansion.
What do want? A Killzone killer?
What's dat river in Egypt?
On the real, the light mechanic looks cool. Still this is Halo 4: Prologue.
"And when I say ‘dark’, I mean it...in some of the unlit interiors you’ll feel like Stevie Wonder playing a survival horror game in a blackout."
Pretty funny guy. I wasn't looking for LOLCATs, but I got them.
is the GOTY to date in my honest opinion, and it is multiplatform. I fully expect Uncharted 2 to change that opinion.
This is PR, nothing more. There is nothing special about that 17% when compared to other consoles.
and it is "sum" of purchase intentions, which make it a likely sales driver for both consoles. Or anything for that matter. I model customer sat and behavior, and it is always there.
Sony can make this same statement "Driving demand are budget-conscious consumers understanding that the PS3 delivers more entertainment value per dollar than any other console."
It is PR, more emotion than fact. It is to give cooliris something to feel good about. ...
Transparent is the new Black.
I believe that 30-40% of those with a PS3 Phat will get a PS3 Slim, but I don't think that percentage of $400-$500K were current owners. I'd say 10% at the most off of gut instinct.
as some comments seem to suggest. But otherwise I think that is a good comparison. I think both games are a bit of fan-service between the main titles. I think Reach is going to let Halo go out in a bang.
should more than compensate. This is like Halo Wars, at the very least a distraction until the real thing arrives.
Given the number of RROD's and the number of Halo 3 players, I bet the figures would indicate Halo 3 causes 360's to fail. But no, there are just that many Halo 3 players! LOL!
and given the ridiculous and very possibly veiled racist Republican attack against any notion of Obama talking to our nation's children, this speech probably was looked over plenty of times.
I'm sure XBox was selected carefully, given its mind-share with our country's youth.
that very scenario first applies to you before it does Flipmode.
You assumed PS3 owners are immature. Flip assumes you are degrading PS3 owners for being less mature than 360 owners. You in turn assume Flip is attacking 360 owners for being less mature. You say he is acting like a teenager...attacking 360 owners. But you attack PS3 owners by saying they are immature...yourself acting like a teenager.
But you are making an argument out of it between college classe...
Psuedo journalists like this are p.o.s.
They are too quick to label a comment as coming from a fanboy. They routinely fail to recognize that we buy based on differing preferences and expectations that may or not be tied to a particular system. Preferring one system over another shouldn't make one a fanboy, nor should having a dissenting opinion, especially when those expectations are not met.
Yet we get stereotypes of PS3-only users as whiny sore loser when these i...
especially timed and DLC exclusives. I'd rather have no game at all than to have a gimped experience. To me this goes beyond the game itself to include any and all DLC.
Yet, I'm in favor for any game releasing on new platforms. If there are more features for the new platform, all the better to compensate those gamers for not having a complete and timely experience.
The dynamic themes are cool but nothing to be excited about. I bought the High Velocity Bowling theme, and I doubt I will buy another. I just don't get into game themes, and that is all I forsee coming.
The What's New Section is an improvement, but I only need one place to access the Playstation Store thank you very much. The XMB was elegant in its simplicity. This update take it away from that, especially with the font sizes. My grandma ain't playing with me!
Get a clue!!
This article isn't about the PC market. It is about mobile computing platforms. Plus, it is more forward looking. Federal regulators are looking at them for the same reasons Microsoft had trouble in the 90's.
Up your reading skills.
it's only a frickin' slogan. It is supposed to capture your attention more than provide any real information. Go play 360.
because it is not only talks up its strength, the phraseology is very Gen Y, "It's only...". They can be like Sega's "Nintendon't" and strike back at XBox: "360!? Whatever!". LOL.
Jump in.
3D Remix...Love it.
